This is where I need to get a little “creative” to put some text in here so that things line up a little better.  I have no idea who actually holds this position (it may not even be decided yet) so I am just filling in some text for now as a place holder.

I was born and raised in Richmond, VA, where I still reside. I joined the First Flight Lions Club in 2007 at the request of Harriett Walton. Harriett and I used to work together at The Library of Virginia, the state library of Virginia. After Harriett retired, she moved to Kill Devil Hills, NC. I was helping her with club activities “remotely” after she retired. After my first visit to the Outer Banks, I got to see first hand the wonderful things that Lions do for their communities. She asked me join First Flight Lions Club and I gladly accepted. The rest is history!

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. I am currently an Administrative and Office Assistant at The Library of Virginia, where I have been employed for almost 20 years (will have 20 years state service in June 2015).

I currently edit the District 31-J newsletter and will continue to do so for the 2015-2016 Lions year.
